Yuriy A. Sergeyev is a former Ukrainian diplomat and politician, who has served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine, and Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations. He was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Greece and Albania (with the residence in Athens) between November 1997 and December 2000. Ambassador Sergeyev will speak about his years in Athens during the Simitis premiership and of the current relations between Ukraine, Greece, and Russia.
